The Giridhare Educational & Social Welfare Foundation conducted a 15-day Women Empowerment & Skill Development program in Davanagere, Karnataka. Over 200 women from low-income households participated in skill-based training modules such as tailoring, computer literacy, handicrafts, and micro-enterprise development.
Sessions were also held on domestic violence awareness, menstrual hygiene, digital banking, government schemes for women, and financial independence. Many participants expressed gratitude for receiving free toolkits and continuous mentorship support.
The foundation emphasized that empowering women is the key to fighting poverty and strengthening families. The program will now expand to nearby villages to ensure long-term economic upliftment.
